Hang-tab tuck top, crash-lock bottom carton (top on panel 3)

ECMA A60.21.00.03. Top: a tuck lid with dust flaps, the back panel running on past the end into a hang tab with a euro slot for a peg hook. Bottom: a crash-lock base glued in the flat that springs square as the carton is opened up, for fast filling by hand. The top closure hangs from panel 3. Panels are counted from the glue joint, as the ECMA code counts them: panel 1 carries the joint and panel 3 is opposite it.

Friction lock: the tongue's shoulders ride over the dust flaps and hold by friction. Slit lock: two slits on the tuck crease make the tongue's corners catch, so the end has to be pressed to open.
