PD-04-002CUSTOM-SEAL-CRASH

Seal-end top, crash-lock bottom carton

A crash-lock bottom that springs into shape as the carton is squared, under a glued seal-end top. Erected and filled in one movement, sealed shut on the line: for heavy or loose products that must not be opened in the supply chain.

Full overlap: the inner and outer flaps both reach across the end and are glued face to face. Reduced flaps: only the outer flap reaches across; the other three are cut short and it is glued down onto them.

Which panel the flap that comes down last hangs from, counted from the glue joint as the ECMA code counts. It decides which face shows the glue line, so it follows the print.

Which edge of the blank carries the manufacturer's joint. Right mirrors the whole blank - every panel, flap and lock - so the box folds the same way with the joint on the other side.

Production

Which hand the joint is on. It follows the gluer the job is booked on, and it mirrors the whole blank.
