PD-01-003ECMA-A01.20.00.01

Tuck top, open bottom carton (top on panel 1)

ECMA A01.20.00.01. Top: a tuck lid with its tongue and two dust flaps, opened and closed again by hand, with a friction or a slit lock. Bottom: open, with no flaps - for a sleeve, a display, or a carton that slides into a tray or an outer. The top closure hangs from panel 1. Panels are counted from the glue joint, as the ECMA code counts them: panel 1 carries the joint and panel 3 is opposite it. The same die is also ECMA A20.01.01.00: turned end over end, with the glue joint on the other hand, it is the carton filled from its other end.

Friction lock: the tongue's shoulders ride over the dust flaps and hold by friction. Slit lock: two slits on the tuck crease make the tongue's corners catch, so the end has to be pressed to open.
